Will video games lead to
the next great discover? That's the claim the Federation
of American Scientists are making, and they believe that
video games can "redefine education."
"The theory is that
games teach skills that employers want: analytical
thinking, team building, multitasking, and problem-solving
under duress."
While the Federation
doesn't believe it will be easy to create these
revolutionary games, it does believe that creating such
games is absolutely possible.
Rate video games as the
future of education.
Is this a good idea? A
silly idea? Considering the Internet and the explosion of
personal video games, I'd say it seems obvious.
