"The popular
video-sharing YouTube site, which is being purchased by
Google for $1.65 billion, limited access to a political
ad that mocks the Clinton administration's policy on
North Korea, but contains no profanity, nudity or other
factors generally thought objectionable."
"Perfectly OK to show
our soldiers getting killed, but they'll be damned if they
allow that anti-democrat ad," added "Spaceman
Spiff." "This [is] very scary to me. However, not
surprising. But, now that they are owned by Google, we'll
certainly be seeing a lot more of this censoring."

I'm not a conservative. In
fact I think I'm a liberal, a real liberal. I absolutely
believe in free speech, even when I disagree with that
speech. While I think abortion is wrong, I am pro-abortion.
I believe in gun rights, in the legalization of drugs, etc.
The one thing I don't
believe in is politics, which is why I almost always vote
for a Third-Party candidate. The partisanship between the
lobbyist controlled two party system just isn't healthy for
the average American.
Consequently, I think
YouTube and Google
should be ashamed of themselves. What made Google great in
the search engine wars was objectivity. Objectivity rather
than the highest bidder gave Google the best search results.
If the Google founders want to donate billions of dollars to
the Democrats, I don't care. That's their right, but I
demand more from the most popular and important search
engine in the world. The Google boys might be liberal
Democrats, but that should have NOTHING to
do with my search results.
If Google, as a business, is
going to use its MASSIVE wealth and power to play partisan
politics, then it's time for me to start looking for a new
search engine. Maybe it's time to check out ASK.COM.
Rate the danger of Google
playing politics.
