Lower the drinking age to 18?

Make them responsible, instead of illegal?

There are a number of movements around the country trying to push the legal drinking age back to 18. Of course, groups like MADD are mad as hell.

Yet, teens are drinking, regardless of the laws. Instead of taboos, wouldn't teaching responsibility be worthy a try? Raising the drinking age has, if anything, only increased dangerous binge drinking and alcohol consumption amongst teens. So, why do we continue to stick with a program that IS NOT working?

Rate the drinking age. Should it be lowered to 18?
