Why can't women dump bad boyfriends?

Why don't you leave your boyfriend?

I was reading some boyfriend ratings recently, and I found myself shocked by the similarity of many posts. Girlfriend after girlfriend being treated poorly by inconsiderate and, often down right mean, boyfriends. Yet, their girlfriends keep putting up with it. Why?

Are the boyfriends in question not really that bad? Are these just crazy girlfriends that love to complain? Maybe, but I'd bet many of these women are just putting up with bad boyfriends. Is this because the nurturing nature of women pushes them towards bad men? I don't get it.

Why do women stay with bad boyfriends?

Rate online dating

Has online dating worked for you?

I've never used any kind of online dating service, but I know a few people that have and it has been very successful for them. Actually, let me rephrase that. I know people whom have met other people online that eventually led to dating, however, they did not use a dating service.

I also know several people that have used online dating services, including some that were denied by the dating service, but none have had any success.

Did you find your boyfriend or girlfriend using an online dating service?

Obviously, certain commercials detail the successes of Internet dating, but what percentage of Internet dating service users end up with a successful relationship?

The 10 Best Gifts for him?

The best pick for him?

Wow, I just got done checking out MSN's Top 20 Best Gifts for him. I looked at the first 10 and almost quit. Fortunately, there were a few good ideas in 11- 20.

For example, an HP digital camera for $100.00 or a Viewsonic Flat Screen for $375. Beyond that, however, stay away from this list, unless you're shopping for your dad, uncle or brother. If you're shopping for your boyfriend, stay away from this list.

What would I pick? Guys like gadgets. What gadget is your guy missing? Want to get him clothes? Don't just buy them. Give him a coupon for a shopping trip, and shop as a couple but let him have some say. Is he a sport's fan? Get him tickets to a big game. Or, if you can afford it, season tickets.

Office romance: Ever had one?

Did you keep the affair under the table?

Don't dip your pen in company ink. That's always been the word in my office. Yet, I've had an office romance that didn't lead to any problems. In fact, it mad a crappy job a little bit more enjoyable.

However, I've witnessed some pretty nasty office romances as well that led to people quitting their jobs and even some getting fired.

Is the office a good place to find your next girlfriend or boyfriend? Or is it just trouble?

Ladies: Time to stop waiting for the phone to ring?

Stop waiting for the man to make the first move?

Why is it that in today's modern world, women still expect the man to make the first move, to make the first call, etc? Isn't this the age of equality?

Or, are such traditions worth saving?

I've worked with men whom were very confident in a work environment -quickly rising up the ladder, yet whom were very insecure regarding dating. Ultimately, just because a man is willing to make the first move doesn't mean he's a good man, or a successful man. In fact, those good at the first moves, often times, are players seeking another conquest.

So, if you've met someone interesting, but whom hasn't called, don't be afraid to make the first move if you're seeking a serious boyfriend. Often times the good ones will get away if you don't take action.

Do you keep relapsing into an old relationship?

Do you keep going back to him or her?

Your a little drunk, or a feeling a little bit lonely, and you call up your ex-boyfriend or girlfriend for a little comfort, suddenly you're a semi-couple again. Now, despite the fact that it just doesn't work between the two of you, these hookups keep happening, but it's better than being alone, right?

Wrong!

According to some experts, "relationship relapse can be deadly to your dating life. That’s because by revisiting your past, you’re taking yourself off the market—thus preventing you from finding The One." (more)

Did he leave the toilet seat up again?

Does the seat really matter that much?

Throughout my life I seem to regularly hear things like, "Why can't you put the toilet seat down?", or "You left the toilet seat up again."

Guys just don't seem to care about such things, but girlfriends do. Thus, girlfriends and wives are often yelling at their boyfriends or husbands about the toilet seat.

Rate your boyfriend

The perfect boyfriend? Yeah, right!

What makes a boyfriend good, or bad? What are the best gifts to give a boyfriend?

Alright, I'm a guy. I've probably been a good boyfriend to some, and a bad boyfriend to others. Let's face it, men are from Mars and women are from Venus - there is no way to get around that.

Still, what makes a good boyfriend? Does he just do whatever you want?

What makes a bad boyfriend? Does he just do whatever he wants?

And, listen, when it's time for a gift, get us what we want. Don't get us tickets for some play so we can be together. If you want us to be together, reserve a funky hotel room for us to get together!!!

When in doubt, men always like a good electronic gadget as a gift.

Half of men believe in love at first sight?

Love or lust at first sight

"When you were younger, you probably believed the Meg Ryan movies and the accompanying romantic plots: Of course there's such a thing as love at first sight.
But now that you've been on more than a few dates, you've noticed the absence of a scriptwriter, cinematographer, hair, makeup, and lighting engineers. That meet-swoon-commit deal only happens in Hollywood, it seems. But consider this: a national survey revealed that 48 percent of men say they do believe in love at first sight," reports Menshealth via Yahoo.

Do you believe it? Do you believe in love at first sight?

Even if you fall in love at first sight, and think your male mate has as well, take it slow. Men like the pursuit, the article also notes. Also, don't tell him right away. Apparently, we men are pretty silly, so just make us feel like we worked hard and won you - think of us as modern cavemen!
