Chuck Palahniuk's CHOKE - Rate it

Can it translate into a good movie?

Who cares. Screw the movie. The novel Choke is worthy of a read on its own right. In fact, it's a kick ass book if you're tired of the all Hollywood bullshit that permeates the life of the average American.

And that is exactly what Choke is all about. Give up the bullshit. This could easily be one of my favorite books.

Do you believe in The Secret?

Do your thoughts control your world?

The universe is powered by the law of attraction according to The Secret and many other similarly themed books. Thus, think positive thoughts and positive things happen. Think negative thoughts and negative things happen. Think about yourself making money and you'll make money, etc., etc.

While I believe in the power of belief, it seems - even if the secret is true - that the power of the 'collective consciousness' and the 'collective thought' is by far more powerful than an individual thought.
