Can $335 million in condoms stimulate the economy?

On the verge of depression, is sex ed really a necessity?

President Barack Obama has told America that government waste is over, and as we spend hundreds of billions to stimulate the economy, things will be done differently this time. No pork. No earmarks. No waste. Razor sharp action, unlike Bush's Wall Street bailout.

Today, the country is in a financial quagmire, and the worst may be yet to come according to numerous financial experts. Thus, Obama has been very focused on creating a stimulus package to save and create jobs.

Yet, how does $335 million for STD prevention really stimulate the economy any time soon?

Live from DooDah tomorrow.

Last meal before DooDah

Getting ready for DooDah, one of Pasadena's most interesting events. Tomorrow ill be on a liquid-only diet starting about 8:30 AM at Lucky Baldwins. Ill be wearing an IWEARWEED shirt.

Ill be reporting live all day via YTsWorld. Unfortunately, I'll be dependent upon my mobile phone, and its crappy camera, for posting (although video will eventually be available).

If you see me, say "I wanna wear weed", and it could be worth a free IWEARWEED t-shirt.

Also, post your DooDah parade photos.

Rate yourself: Lying Sheep - Are you an average human?

Rate yourself and check out what others had to say.Liars and followers

Man, we humans are a real joke. According to numerous studies, humans are typically a bunch of followers. Sheep.

Ironically, however, half us don't think we're sheep. Half us are outright liars. We're in denial. It's everyone else that is the mindless follower. At least that's what I'm figuring based on some info on CNN today.

I'm not much for Hollywood fashion. The Golden Globes, the Oscars - I think you can see exactly what these people are made of by the way they dress for these events. But, that's a whole other topic.

Anyway, since these vain humans are so compelled to show off their sex appeal, then we should rate it.

Proof that aliens might have visited earth

Proof that scientists don't know everything. Rate the possibility of aliens having visited earth. No, but.....

Once, a few years ago, I was lying in my backyard star-gazing. At some point in time I noticed a speck of light moving across the sky. If it hadn't been moving, it would have looked like a star millions of light years away, yet this speck was moving across the sky, and it was moving fast.

It seemed far too high for an airplane, and I thought maybe it was a satellite, the space station, even the space shuttle. Yet, none of those explanations made sense. Then, I figured it was probably some kind of advanced military technology that could not only fly very high - perhaps even into suborbital space - but could move extremely fast.

For the first few seconds, .........Finish:  Proof that aliens might have visited earth

Rate faux vegetarians - Poser nation?

Rate people that call themselves vegetarians, but still eat meat.Is being a vegetarian cool, even if you aren't really a vegetarian?

I used to be a vegetarian, and I think about becoming a vegetarian almost every day. In fact, a few days each week I don't eat any meat.

But what does 'meat' mean, and how does it relate to being a vegetarian? Can you eat chicken and fish and still be a vegetarian? Hell no.

YTsWorld has just started, but it might be interesting to follow its development.

Should the NFL change its OT rules?

Much ado about a coin toss

I've never really thought much of the NFL's OT rules. In fact, I think I like the NFL's Over Time policy better than College Football's policy.

Nonetheless, since Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts lost to San Diego in the playoffs, the idea of changing the NFL's OT rules has received quite a bit of press. All of it has made me think that I now also believe that the NFL's OT rules should be changed, though not to those of college.

Rate your Best Buy Extended Warranty Service

Lies and deception - Customer service at Best Buy

I buy quite a bit of electronics from Best Buy. Recently, I bought a small camera to carry around in my pocket when a bigger camera wasn't feasible. Since it was a business expense, I decided to purchase the $30.00 warranty, mostly because the sales woman told me that if anything went wrong, Best Buy would simply replace the camera.

Well, the camera isn't working. Yet, when I took it into Best Buy in Pasadena, California, the Geek Squad rep told me there would be a 12 day turn around as this was a 'service contract' not a 'replacement' contract.

Thus, the salesperson simply lied to me, probably because I'm guessing she received some kind of bonus for this outright fraud. Finish: Rate your Best Buy Extended Warranty Service

Quality: Perez Hilton v. Ann Coulter

Perez Hilton - Every mother's dream

I absolutely believe in free speech. So, when I heard that NBC was considering a ban against conservative Ann Coulter, I knew I had to investigate the story. Apparently, NBC executives floated the ban idea because Coulter's new book Guilt takes a pretty harsh stand against what Coulter believes is an extreme liberal bias in the media. Apparently, she also takes a few shots a President-Elect Barack Obama.

Thus, NBC pulled her from an episode of the Today Show. Instead, celebrity blogger Perez Hilton took her place. Finish: Quality: Perez Hilton v. Ann Coulter
