Why does moondancer make me feel so sad?

So, I've shown you head art from Deborah Blanco Flores. Well, here's a painting - I think - from her Taco Special Exhibit called moondancer...

There is something about the sadness in this painting that I think is really intriguing. It just seems so real and genuine in such a nonsensical expression.

What does it all mean, Deborah?

Still, I think this skulls picture is my favorite. Just a bunch of skulls, it seems, wondering what the hell it means to be dead. 'Dude, do you know what just happened? Are we dead? I don't know. Maybe.'

Or, maybe its just life. Deep inside we're all just a bunch of skeletons staring out at the world anyway, right?

Why can't women dump bad boyfriends?

Why don't you leave your boyfriend?

I was reading some boyfriend ratings recently, and I found myself shocked by the similarity of many posts. Girlfriend after girlfriend being treated poorly by inconsiderate and, often down right mean, boyfriends. Yet, their girlfriends keep putting up with it. Why?

Are the boyfriends in question not really that bad? Are these just crazy girlfriends that love to complain? Maybe, but I'd bet many of these women are just putting up with bad boyfriends. Is this because the nurturing nature of women pushes them towards bad men? I don't get it.

March Madness. One of the best times of the year, especially if you are a college basketball fan. However, even those usually not interested in basketball can get caught up in the excitement of the NCAA tournament.

Worst day for St. Patricks Day?

How is, or how was, your St. Patrick's Day? Kind of sucks it happened on Monday.

I have a nasty cold - I'm sick again! I haven't even had a drink, but I'm going to have a shot of whiskey before bed to help me sleep and to celebrate, I am a wee bit Irish don't ya know. The clover-headed Guinness Deb crafted for me at the 35er on Thursday wasn't very lucky - I guess.

Finally, a little green at Orvis. Though nothing fit my style, at least Orvis sells both hemp and organic cotton clothes.

The staff told me that Orvis has many more green clothes available online. Orvis green clothes are, however, expensive.

Everything at Patagonia is green. While most things are made with organic cotton, Patagonia also carries some organic hemp products as well.

Today, I saw hemp shoes and a number of hemp shirts. Again, everything else is organic cotton, so you can't go wrong at Patagonia if you are shopping for green shoes or any type of green clothing.

Yes, Patagonia could work a bit on their style - get XXL t-shirts please!

Neo39 was out of any hemp shoes for guys, but they usually do have a pair or two available, in addition to recycled shoes.
