Why does moondancer make me feel so sad?

So, I've shown you head art from Deborah Blanco Flores. Well, here's a painting - I think - from her Taco Special Exhibit called moondancer...

There is something about the sadness in this painting that I think is really intriguing. It just seems so real and genuine in such a nonsensical expression.

What does it all mean, Deborah?

Still, I think this skulls picture is my favorite. Just a bunch of skulls, it seems, wondering what the hell it means to be dead. 'Dude, do you know what just happened? Are we dead? I don't know. Maybe.'

Or, maybe its just life. Deep inside we're all just a bunch of skeletons staring out at the world anyway, right?
