no its not, at all.
in any relationship you have to show your respect with the other person.its better to show your face, and maybe not even finish go on a break or discuss it and find out the things you can change.

No it's not okay. But, most people can't break someone's heart to their face. It is a tough thing to do, but if you can't, maybe you should think twice about being in a relationship, if you can take the good, you should at least respect the person enough to take the bad. It works both ways, think of yourselves in thier positions.
anyway is okay to break up via email via text message voicemail in person a note heard it from a little bird ignore them is not effective tho all that makes them do is want to be around you more

I'm a girl,,, and if my bf dumped my by text, I would probably go to house, brick a couple of windows, strangle him, cut off his bollocks.
Canceling a date isnt that bad, its better via phone call or face to face.
I know it can be awkward breaking up with someone in person, but DO NOT text them.

Of course breaking up over text is not okay. If they ever did mean anything to you, at least.
Breaking a date over text... depends on the date, but generally, I'd say that's understandable.
