The first 16 year old girl to get pregnant?

Jamie Lynn Spears is pregnant. So what? So are a million other 16 year old girls. Yet, according to People, this fact has "generated an immediate groundswell of strong opinion, much of it negative, with many suggesting Spears may have lost all credibility as a teen role model."

If a TV character is your child's top role model, then maybe you shouldn't be a parent. The condemnation of some parents and their inability to forgive mistakes is a far worse message to send kids.
