Racism: Is it getting worse?

What is up with the nooses?

I'm not black, but if I was, and someone put up a noose around me, I'd be pissed - those are fighting words. Since the problems in Texas, there have now been several instances of nooses in other areas. What's up with these pathetic copycat's?
