Lower the drinking age to 18?
Make them responsible, instead of illegal?There are a number of movements around the country trying to push the legal drinking age back to 18. Of course, groups like MADD are mad as hell.
Yet, teens are drinking, regardless of the laws. Instead of taboos, wouldn't teaching responsibility be worthy a try? Raising the drinking age has, if anything, only increased dangerous binge drinking and alcohol consumption amongst teens. So, why do we continue to stick with a program that IS NOT working?
Rate the drinking age. Should it be lowered to 18?

i agree it just makes them want it more. if i had a quarter for each time i heard someone say that at 21 there going to get drunk and party i would have enough money to bribe congress in order to change this law lol. theyre waiting to abuse it because its something so far off. If it wasn't a big deal they wouldn't care as much
