It's Friday - Rate your damn day!
Sounds like a good lunchHow's your day going? If it's bad, at least it is Friday!
I have to work all weekend. Since my Friday is shot, I'm going to make the best of my lunch hour, well, hours - I'm taking the rest of the day off. It's 11:30 Pacific Time and I'm heading to Old Towne Pasadena for the next 3 + hours.
Of course, since I'm going to blog most of my liquid lunch adventure, will I really be off? Who cares!
Rate your day. Bitch if you have to bitch. Cheer if you can. It's Friday bitches. Salute!

I'm sitting on the Metro Goldline, just about to pass by the Mission Statement. I was feeling like sushi, but there are a few bartenders I haven't seen in sometime, so I'm going to stop by Gordon Biersch.

I love this place on weekday afternoons because the bar is always almost empty. I typically come here because I want a few beers and I want to be left alone. I don't mind talking to some of the bartenders, such as Hugo, but normally I just need some quite booze time in a social setting.
I don't know what it is, I've been kind of a people-hater lately.
Why are there so many assholes in the world?
Why is it that the older people become, the more annoying they become?
Why can't we all just have a beer, chill out and get along?

I'm gonna finish this beer and head to the 35er - my regular Friday happy hour stop. Since it's not quite happy I guess I'll just have to smile a lot.

Just another low-key day at the Diver, and I'm now a few beers into my liquid lunch and feeling buzzed.
The only thing that sucks right now is the fact that I can't drink too much - I have to work tomorrow.
