Immigration: Is Vicente Fox a hypocritical racist?

A do what I say, not what I do politician?

"Former Mexican President Vicente Fox said Monday that the United States is letting racism dictate its policies, especially when it comes to immigration.
"The xenophobics, the racists, those who feel they are a superior race ... they are deciding the future of this nation," he said, without naming names, in an interview with The Associated Press."

If Mexico had more progressive policies regarding immigration and foreign property ownership, for example, Mr. Fox might have a foot to stand on regarding immigration. Instead, Mr. Fox is simply a hypocritical racist.

Immigration is a divisive, complex issue. Certainly, racism in the U.S. is definitely playing a role, but it isn't the only role - as Mexico's own immigration laws demonstrate.

Moreover, I've heard a number of Mexicans claim they don't want the American Dream, they want the Mexican Dream, but politicians, such as Fox, are too corrupt for such a reality.

Those whom live in glasses houses, Mr. Fox, shouldn't throw stones. Rate Vicente Fox. Is Fox a hypocrite and racist?
