Do you keep going back to him or her?Your a little drunk, or a feeling a little bit lonely, and you call up your ex-boyfriend or girlfriend for a little comfort, suddenly you're a semi-couple again. Now, despite the fact that it just doesn't work between the two of you, these hookups keep happening, but it's better than being alone, right?

Yes i do it all of the time. I am on the third time with my boyfriend. And he still treats me like dirt, ignores me but i cant let it go.

ur not alone I've been doing it for 5 out of the ten years we've dated. Worse (tears):-( Ive been friends with him for almost thirty years. He's the only one in my whole life that i still know. ITS DRIVING ME CRAZY THINKING I WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO LET HIM GO FOR GOOD.
I have been doing this for the past year and a half!
I think I could have loved him before he cheated, lied, and tried to emotionally be a little abusive. I think I kept going back in disbelief that human beings can be that mean to one another, but now I am clear, YES, PEOPLE CAN! There are some people out there, that will do whatever they have to to provoke an emotional response and use your emotions to their advantage! I know this may seem naive to not realize that sometimes people will tell you that they love you and completely not mean it, they will then make you feel as though they are deserving of your attention and love, and so you give freely only to find out that you have invited a vampire into your home! They will keep sucking you completely dry so long as they get gratified in doing so. These people will never feel on the same level that you do and you need to RUN not walk to the nearest exit when you think you have identified them. That means leaving them at a movie, or restaurant, or bar, no matter, just get out ASAP! On top of sucking you dry, they will brain wash you into believing that no one else will ever treat you any better, so no need to wish for anything better to come your way, DONT listen, not all people are mean, there are a lot of kind generous people in the world, that are capable of giving and receiving love, even when it doesn't work out, there is no need to be hurtful to one another! Bail on anyone that mistreats you or misuses their power!
