Are politicians the worst Americans?

If only politicians were as honest and loyal as dogs!

I can't stand politico-types on either the far left or the far right, and I especially can't stand most politicians. Everything is always politics. Everything, no matter how unrelated is always somehow the fault of the other side. Both sides have become so provincially ignorant that, quite honestly, America would be better without them.

So, now let me tell you how I really feel. Seriously, though, isn't America supposed to be the convergence of differing opinions?
