Community organizer equals black?

According to Gov. David Paterson of NY, 'community organizer' is a code word for 'black'.

The evidence Patterson uses is the Sarah Palin speech, "So I suppose a small town mayor is sort of like a community organizer, except with real responsibilities," she said at the convention.

So, is her point that Barack Obama is black. Or, is she trying to say that being a mayor is a more important experience than community organizing?

Call me a dumb white boy, but I thought she was obviously trying to criticize his experience. Plus, isn't it pretty obvious that Obama is black? So anything the Republicans say against Obama will now be racism?
