I've now eaten at the Wood Ranch a few times. In fact, its my favorite place to eat when visiting the Santa Anita Mall in Aracadia, CA. It's not just the food, its the atmosphere and the decor - the entire dining experience.

Anyway, I've eaten the BBQ Tri Tip, the BBQ Baby Back Ribs, and the Prime Rib, and the BBQ Tri Tip is easily my favorite. The BBQ Ribs were also very good, but the meat doesn't fall of the bone the way it does at other places. Of course, I pay a lot more at those other places. The Prime Rib was good, but a bit bland for my tastes. The next time I'm there I'm going to see if they offer a blackened option - the way I prefer my prime rib.

The ceasar salad wasn't to my liking, but the cole slaw, french fries and especially the sweet potato mash are now favorite sides.

The Wood Ranch is a great place to dine when looking for a quality casual dining experience, especially when you're in the mood for beef, particularly BBQ beef. Also, the lunch menu provides a hearty lunch at a fair price.
