I've been coming to the El Arco Iris restaurant for more than a decade. A lot has changed in that time. A lot hasn't.

I love coming here for happy hour margaritas. I love the burritos, especially the carnitas, and I love coming on weekend mornings for the huevos rancheros topped with their tasty chile verde.

Other things on the menu are hit or miss. Some days they are great. Some days not so good. Still, at these prices, you can't complain too much.

When its a good day, I love the mole and Armando's special.

Nonetheless, El Arco Iris restaurant is a Northeast Los Angeles landmark. Have a margarita and a burrito, and you can't go wrong.
