Obama love: Is it a problem for the media?

On the cover again

I don't much care for politicians. I think most have failed the people, and the only thing they have accomplished is making themselves and their friends richer - at 'We the People's' expense. Thus, I try to attack both sides of the political aisle. Ultimately, I'll admit, Democrats talk more about the issues that I care, but they don't do much. It's just talk, talk, talk.

Still, when it comes to the mainstream media, it seems there is little journalistic integrity left. Everyone is biased. Obviously, it started with Fox, which has an obvious affinity towards the 'right' and Republicans.

But, it doesn't end with Fox.

Lately, it has become obvious that much of the mainstream press has a strong bias towards Barack Obama, whom is the recipient of far more press coverage - especially positive press - than John McCain. For example, BarackĀ Obama is now on the cover of Time for the 7th time this year, versus 2 times for John McCain.

Yes. It's a problem, but the media is supposed to be fair and objective - two words that are no longer found in the media's dictionary.

I'm all for Obama, but blatant media bias is unacceptable.
