Favorite dog friendly hotels and motels

Where do you stay with your dog?
I'm heading cross country. Often, I just sleep in my car at some rest stop, but I needed to get horizontal. So, I had to find a cheap, dog friendly hotel for a few hours of sleep before hitting the road again.
I ended up at Motel 6 in Grand Junction, CO. I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. Sure the room is small and the beds are tiny, but everything is very clean.
And, unlike other dog friendly hotels I've been to in the past, the floors are wood; therefore, the floors in this hotel don't stink like dog pee.
Ultimately, in a pinch I'd definitely give Motel 6 another chance for a dog friendly hotel room.
