While members of Congress criticize Wall Street and those whom profited off the problems on Wall Street, the latest data indicate that most member of Congress have few financial worries

The median salary of those in the Senate is $1.7 million. For those in the House it's $684,000. (more)

Thus, since most Senators started in the House, one might say, the longer you serve in Congress, the more wealthy you become. Ironic how so many in Congress are supportive of wealth redistribution. Perhaps we should redistribute the wealth of Congressional members to get started.
