| If you've been to
the gas pump in the last day or two, you probably noticed that
it cost a little more to fill up your vehicle. That's because
gas prices are up about 15 cents since this time last month, and
up more than 50 cents compared to last year.
What's going on?
Refineries are still dealing
with the problems of Katrina. Demand from the U.S., China,
India, and Japan continues to increase, and now there is Iran.
Iran, it seems, could be the start of something very ugly in
terms of gasoline prices.
What seems obvious is that this
year, prices at the pump are going to be much higher than last
year, barring some miracle.
It might not be a bad idea to
check out some hybrid
cars.
Rate gasoline prices.
